Negative pressure

What is negative pressure?

  1. Negative pressure is a pressure which is lower than the atmospheric pressure and positive pressure is a pressure which is higher than the atmospheric pressure.
  2. In practice the term vacuum is used for negative pressure. A vacuum is literally a situation without pressure and matter. The pressure is then 0 Pascal.

The Oxydent air pumps can be used both for negative pressure (suction) as well as positive pressure (blow).
