Volumetric mass density

What is volumetric mass density?

This is a term for the mass (weight) of a material or fluid per unit volume. Water weighs approximately 1 kg per liter. This data is needed in order to calculate buoyancy of an aeration system. Oxydent makes several floating aeration systems to make sure the that the system will float vertically and not sink or flip. We use the mass density and buoyancy to determine the correct counterweight that is needed.
