Stratification

What is stratification?

Standing water can contain several different layers with different quality and temperature. For example, the lower layer may be anaerobic and the top layer of reasonable quality. This is known as stratification, because a homogeneous quality of the water is desired in horticulture, mixing is necessary. With aeration one creates a flow in the water whereby the water is constantly mixed to a homogeneous water quality.

Oxydent aeration systems are perfect for the job!
