What is BOD and COD?
- BOD stands for Biological Oxygen Demand this indicates the oxygen consumption of any micro-organism in the water.

- COD stands for Chemical Oxygen Demand this indicates the oxygen consumption for all non-organic components in the water.
How to measure?
By monitoring water in a sealed sample cup for 5 days at O2 mg / l, it is possible to determine what the O2 consumption is.
